October was a meaningful month for Alpha Delta Pi at Western Kentucky University. From new traditions to Homecoming celebrations, we enjoyed time together and strengthened our sisterhood.
Blue and White Day
We began the month with Blue and White Day, where members were paired with their Violet Sisters. It was a simple and special time to connect, grow closer, and celebrate the values that bring us together.
Initiation
We were honored to initiate our 34 new members and officially welcome them into our sisterhood. Their energy and kindness have already made a positive impact, and we’re excited to support them as they continue their ADPi journeys.
Football Fun
Throughout the month, we cheered on the Tops at home football games. Whether celebrating a big play or simply enjoying the day with friends, these weekends were filled with school spirit and lasting memories.
Shenangians
A group of our sisters had the privilege of participating in Kappa Delta’s philanthropy event, Shenanigans, a spirited dance competition. Partnered with Sigma Phi Epsilon, we performed a Star Wars-themed routine centered around Padmé and Anakin’s love story. A huge shoutout to Hailey Hubbs, Emma Thorn, and Channing Knox for their incredible leadership and choreography, helping guide our team to an impressive third-place finish!
Homecoming Week
Homecoming was a busy and exciting time. After a full week of pomping and events, we were proud to earn:
2nd in Spirit
3rd in Float
2nd in Events Day
2nd Overall
The hard work brought us closer and reminded us how much we can accomplish together. Huge thank you to our overall chairs (Maggie Blair, Ava Granzow, Hannah Humble, Annabelle Southworth, and Avery Beason) and our float chairs (Emma Cox, Caroline Cook, Sarah Beth Meador, and Ella Paige Kunkel) for all of the hard work they put into this week!
Alumni Tailgate
We wrapped up the week at the Homecoming football game and alumni tailgate. Spending time with returning sisters made the day even more special, and we loved catching up under the tent before cheering on the Tops.
Looking Ahead
October was full of connection and celebration. We are grateful for every moment shared and look forward to the rest of the semester.
