August Recap!

August has been nothing short of amazing for Alpha Delta Pi at Western Kentucky! From the excitement of recruitment to welcoming our newest sisters, our chapter has been full of energy, joy, and sisterhood. Here’s a look back at everything we’ve been up to this month:

Work Week & Recruitment

We kicked off August with a busy and rewarding work week. Our members worked hard preparing for recruitment, and all of that effort truly paid off. These two weeks were full of bonding, laughter, and sisterhood as we got ready to meet potential new members. It would not have been possible without our Vice President of Recruitment, Chloe Ralston, and Recruitment Assistant, Annabelle Southworth.

Bid Day

Bid Day was a day to remember! Our theme, "Once Upon A Bid Day," was a dream that came to life with the help of Kyndra Winters and Hope White, our bid day co-chairs. We were thrilled to welcome 35 incredible new Alphas into our sisterhood. The day was filled with excitement, smiles, and lots of pictures as we celebrated our newest members and the bright future of our chapter.

New Member Ice Cream Social

To give our new sisters a sweet start, we hosted an ice cream social! It was the perfect way for Alphas and actives to mix, mingle, and share some laughs (and sprinkles).

ADPi Bible Studies

We’ve also started back up our ADPi bible studies for the semester, with our Chaplain, Elli Buckingham. These gatherings are such a special way to grow spiritually and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood beyond chapter meetings and events.

Game Days on the Hill

Fall means one thing: game days are back on the Hill! Our sisters were so excited to cheer on the Tops together and share in the WKU spirit. Nothing beats the energy of football season in Bowling Green!

Alpha Sessions Begin

Our new members officially began their Alpha Sessions, an important part of learning about our history, values, and traditions. We are so excited to watch our newest sisters grow throughout this journey and make their mark on our chapter.

August has been a month full of memories, milestones, and meaningful moments. We are so excited for what the rest of the semester has in store for us: more game days, philanthropy events, and sisterhood activities. Here’s to a wonderful start to the school year with Alpha Delta Pi!
