When I look back on my college experience, I find myself wondering what it would have been like if I hadn’t gone through recruitment or if I hadn’t chosen ADPi. I find myself taking away all of my favorite people and memories from college.
As I enter my senior year of college, wishing for time would slow down, I find myself reflecting on the memories that my best friends and I will once tell our children. Memories that will last a lifetime. This place is not the four walls that have surrounded us during our years here in Epilson Delta, it is not the chapter meetings every Sunday, or the dances where we dress up and take pictures at (even though we all love it), it is the people that make the place. I can truthfully say I finally understand what that famous quote means. It is sisters like Hannah Hamelback, Maddy Songer, Paige Kappesser, Caroline Yates, Emma Jackson, Laney Dempsey, Ava Granzow, Zeme Markman, Ellie Smith, Hailey Hubbs, and the list goes on and on. Best friends that become family.
I am so thankful for a chapter that makes one more year left in it seem so hard to wrap my head around. Thank you, Epsilon Delta, for changing my life, for bringing me my future bridesmaids, my kids' future aunties, and a place I can always call home!
